After I made my first quite positive encounter with the Omnicharge 20 from the Indiegogo crown funding campaign, I kept up with these sophisticated, well designed, reliable and robust powerbanks.
I later purchased the all-in-one Ultimate version also with option to easily replace the battery.
Actually these units can be used as portable UPS devices for up to 90 watts out-/throughput. :-)))
After waiting for the latest Omni40+ model I had to realize the easy to swap battery feature wasn't any longer part of this device neglecting longevity.
So to get me covered for some more years I took distance from Omni40+ and ordered my second Ultimate as long as they are still on sale.
Now I have two of them which I believe will last me long enough until there might by a next (Omnicharge) model on the horizon that also puts easy battery replacing into focus (again).
Some beta tester stated about the Omni40+ "If James Bond were to carry a smart & rugged power device, this would be the one he would choose"
I say, if I were James Bond I surely would had kicked Qs behind for dropping a core option like easy battery replacement assuring longevity after all!
Anyway, if one doesn't care about (easy) self-replacing a spent battery but the full unit - go for any available Omnicharge model as generally spoken they are all worth the money and properly do what they are made for.
Well designed, rock stable.
