How to make working from home easier

Remote working is becoming more and more common, and we are even seeing companies adopt this as a permanent solution. When working from home, there are a few key things to keep in mind, location, comfort, planning, and, last but not least, technology. Having a dedicated work station that you associate with work and is separate from your personal and recreational space is key to thriving from the home office.

Having the proper technology is also essential for keeping up efficiency. You’ll want to have a similar setup as you usually do at your office, which might be a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Working with only a laptop for extended periods can be quite exhausting. And don’t forget your power solutions; at home, you might not have the same power availability as you do at the office, and having a portable power solution can save you much of the effort of dragging extension chords all across the living room.
